Just minutes south of San Jose's bustling environment, you'll find the peace and quiet you've been hoping to find. Back in the 70's this was a favorite campground of the locals where many learned to swim in one of the two pools. While we no longer have the pools, the campground has maintained its natural setting. This is where the Doobie Brothers Band played concerts. The old bandstand is still there. We have all kinds of wildlife (turkeys, bobcats, deer, owls and quail). Some have reported seeing coyotes and a mountain lion, although we never saw the lion!
